Has anyone had experience with the NovaPro 100 by PhotoSonix? If so, please share. I'm considering one...

The NovaPro 100 is almost a copy of the Mind Gear PR2. They may just be made by the same company under a different name (Look closely at the case and check the price; they exactly the same at $349.00). I owned a Mind Gear PR2 on the strenght of a review I read and then began to study this whole subject. I began to uncover all the defeciencies of the Mind Gear machine and a lot of other machines out there.

First off, the Nova Pro comes with Red LED stimulation goggles. This is a mistake based on bad information. The color red is generaly regarded as a stimulant color, not good for relaxing or entraining a hypnotic state. Do you have the option of selecting colors? Not likely. White, Blue or Green are far better.
I used to get peculiar headaches in my forehead after some sessions with the Mind Gear. I later found that I was feeling Visual Cortex Fatigue because the goggles (even though set at the manufacturer's settings) were set too bright.

Secondly, can you incorporate biofeedack, neurofeedback or CES devices with your machine? You may not want to now but as your knowledge and experience increases this becomes likely.

I ended up buying a DAVID XL by Mind Alive, and I've been happy ever since. www.mindalive.com

Well, I already went ahead and purchased the NovaPro 100, based on some other research.

To answer your questions, yes I had the option to choose another color and I chose white - not having had experience with blue or green (although they were tempting!). I used to own an InnerQuest 2 many years ago. It had red LED goggles and I wasn't terribly happy with them, although that machine was great. The light intensity can be changed on the NP100 by a continuously variable thumbwheel.

Not sure if biofeedback machines can be incorporated. It can be remotely controlled via the COM port of a computer. It also has built-in capability to be driven by externally via AudioStrobe-encoded CDs.

      We'll see how it goes.
